Watching Messi-Barcelona visas Lukaku-Man U’s UEFA game, like Lungu-PF visas HH-UPND in 2021

index messi lukaku.jpgEveryone who closely followed and attentively watched the UEFA game between our Mighty Barcelona visas the legendary Manchester United on Tuesday night would testify that the game was too tough and tight from the first and last whistle. Both teams showed high technical skills and while making sure that scoring goals was not prioritized for defending against them. But our mighty and great Barcelona still proved that they were super mature men playing responsible boys at their Old Trafford home stadium. It was a game of David and Goliath at team level as well as in terms of player to player comparison. While in England I softly support Manchester United since I am not so much into Premier League Football, my vote was on our legendary Barcelona because they frequently deliver sure victories and smiles for me from the time I started following them in 2004.

Coming home in Zambia, I have deliberately decided to analyze and postulate the ruling PF and Lungu visas opposition UPND and HH going into the 2021 national vote in relation to this crucial UEFA game that will be played again in Spain next week while using Leo Messi for Barcelona as reigning President Edgar Lung and Lukaka for Manchester United to mirror Zambia’s most known and influential opposition contender in Hikainde Hichilema (HH). In this article, it is common sense that Patriotic Front (PF) takes the synonym for Barcelona and the same for United Party for National Development (UPND) for Manchester United. Here we go:

Every time Barcelona’s Leo Messi got the ball, he was always speedily chased and brutally marked with more than 4 Manchester United players from nowhere because he is a known genius on the game and dangerous dribbler who can score from any angle. For Manchester United’s Lukaku, he was unnoticed ordinary striker left unmarked or only paired and marked with one Barcelona defender and the Belgium was dwarf in the game, tamed to his knees and failed to scare the opponent goal keeper in both first and second half. Currently, Lungu and HH are not very different from Messi and Lukaku in the Zambian political game and 2021 may present a similar spectacle. Lungu is politically Zambia’s lead iconic hero with tremendous national influence and followership dominating in seven provinces while HH is still a sure dwarf who is struggling to politically score and shine outside his traditional trio provinces of Southern, Western and North Western.

As the most celebrated and decorated global icon of football, Messi played with sure style, pomp, easy pace and extraordinary skills while the entire Manchester United midfield and defence panicked everywhere or merely enjoyed watching the genius running through them which created more chances for others to score and win the game. For Lukaku, he was generally good on the ball in terms of holding in reverse but lacked the genius skill and legendary impact of being the likes of CR7 or Great Messi to shake and move the Barcelona midfield and defence in order to open up Lashford, Pogba or Dalot to score. Despite running and sweating more than Messi, Lukaku made very minimal impact on the game while the camera men and women sidelined him with purpose and mainly and always zoomed at Messi for his name and legacy. Currently, Lungu is enjoying the legendary incumbency of super Messi in terms of impact and media coverage everywhere as he is the man with state power and ‘kasaka Kandalama’ while HH is facing the dwarf media attention and political visibility of Lukaku at UEFA level as he is merely a contender.

Since Messi has won it all and achieved beyond measure for Barcelona, he was in full command of the game last night and played with excellent precision in terms of knowing when to run, how to run and where to run in order to shot or assist for a goal. Like Martial, Lingard, Dalot or Lashford, Lukaku is still playing to make a name and prove himself at Man U and consistently panics every time he is given the ball as he fears to blunder and be bullied by rude funs at Old Trafford. This is exactly what is happening between Lungu and HH. When it comes to campaigns anywhere, Lungu is ahead and in full control as his government has planted visible developmental monuments everywhere and mainly points at what they have done with celebratory smiles and dances like recently in Kafue while HH is proving to make a name before voters and having it too tough to pronounce unsound promises of building roads, schools, clinics, colleges, universities, hospitals, etc which are already done or being delivered by Lungu. This will be more brutally real going into 2021 between the Zambian political Messi and Lukaku.

Lungu enjoys full or unquestionable PF endorsement going into 2021 for delivering many political victories and defending power just like captain Messi remains the untouchable god at Barcelona for what he has delivered and won for them. To the contrary, HH’s career political career is increasingly becoming precarious for losing multiple political battles for UPND and himself just like Lukaku at Man U and UEFA level and risk being substituted for Lingard in Gary Nkombo, Lashford in GBM or Martial in Cornelius Mweetwa before or after the 2021 if he loses again and again.

The Messi and Lukaku comparison in the Barcelona visas Man UEFA Game is exact the current political status of Lungu and HH in Zambia and may remain so going into 2021. While Lungu is the politically the legendary UEFA champion master and iconic Leo Messi who commands state power and holds the political trophies for winning the presidency twice as the sitting number one citizen for now, HH is the typical Lukaku for Manchester United who has been consistently playing good football for ages but still remains an ordinary scorer without any significant personal victory at UEFA level or won serious high profiled trophies for his clubs anywhere. A return game in Spain between our legendary Barlocena and mighty Man U is likely to be a formality as Messi will be merciless and too brutal for Lukaku to see any shot on target as sinking and drowning them convincingly is the schemed game plan.  But football being a game, you never know, Lukaku may get miracle chances and score wonder goals to sink Messi and amazingly win it. I vow to watch this game!!!
